Help Three Swords Floral Co. Storefront!

Hi there, my name is Anne Latham and I'm the grand high of Three Swords Floral Co. I am the one woman show behind the emails, the social media, the event design, and your daily flowering.

I'm starting a new journey into opening a flower shop of my own! This new space is going to act as the headquarters for Three Swords Floral Co., meaning it will be a space to stop in to buy flowers on the fly, pre order arrangements, buy unique gifts, take classes, and even plan your wedding or event florals. The space itself is located in Jefferson Park, Chicago; close to public transportation and highway 90/94!

Jefferson Park has had a long history of empty storefronts with property owners purposefully choosing not to allow renters and I'm absolutely thrilled to help against that cycle. In order for this store to be a success in what is typically known as a quieter neighborhood within Chicago, I need to build out this space exactly the way I envision it. The hardest part of construction was taken care of by property management (ie new flooring, new drywall, new ac/heat, wheelchair accessible bathroom, etc), however, I do need help with the following:

-floral refrigeration

-front of house display build outs

-shelving/storage

-work space necessities (ie more work tables, supplies, display glassware, etc)

Those of you who know me personally know how difficult it is for me to ask for help in any facet of life. I've jumped through hoops trying to grab business grants and even loans or lines of credit, but am continually denied as I am a younger business owner. Anything and everything helps! I'd love to pursue this dream of mine with the help of my community and set this space up for success.

The space is to be open mid August (and sooner if possible), so time is so incredibly important to this project right now. I'm extremely grateful for any and all donations.
