Join our Pink Tutu Challenge!
Greetings, Friends and Supporters of Three Marm Brewing.
Like many small businesses, our brewery has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been able to secure a $5,000 Payroll protection grant from the state of California, but we need more funds to cover staffing and payroll as we work toward expanded hours and further improvements to our building.
Our goal is to raise a total of $10,000, half of which will go toward our own payroll expenses. Because we believe in giving back to the community, the other half will be split equally among five charities: Mountain Meals on Wheels, Operation Provider, Mountain Search and Rescue, Smile Train, and Barbells for Boobs.
To help us meet this goal by August 12, 2021, if we reach our goal of $10,000, Three Marm's Founder, actor and producer Andrew Divoff will wear a pink tutu and other silly accessories while serving burgers and beer during our Summer Festival from Friday, August 13th through Sunday, August 15th!
Our Story

(Left to right: Head Brewer Donnie Strodtman, founder Andrew Divoff, website and marketing administrator Erica Wright, and apprentice brewery Adam Hernandez.)
Founded in 2016, Three Marm Brewing is small brew crafter conceived and created by Andrew Divoff
Three Marm Brewing Co. is all about real craftsmen brewing real craft beer. Three Marm Brewing arose from its founders—Andrew Divoff, Donnie Strodtman, and Adam Hernandez– sharing a mutual background in logging. In 2003, they formed a logging crew to address the bark beetle blight that threatened pine trees in the San Bernardino Mountains. With the use of a 75-ton crane, the crew removed dead and dying Poderosa Pines, helping to prevent the further infection of trees in the region. Three Marm Brewing was later joined by Erica Wright in 2017. Erica has volunteered for Three Marm’s charity pours since its inception, and now manages the microbrewery’s online presence.
Three Marm Brewing Co. was established with the mountain culture in mind. “Marm” is logger parlance for the point up in a tree where it branches out into 2 or more trunks. Most of the Three Marm crew were loggers at one time and used the marm in a tree to secure the climber/cutter’s “basecamp”.
Andrew Divoff began brewing beer in 2014, with the debut of his Djinn’s Hellabrew at the horror film convention Rock and Shock. To date, all of the pours of Djinn’s Hellabrew have benefitted charities. Consistent with Andrew’s past efforts, the brewery is being built with the community in mind. The founders are building out a former post office and library in Crestline, California, and are aiming to be good neighbors, taking pride in their property and surrounding community. Andrew’s vision for running the business is one of corporate responsibility, caring for the environment, and giving back to the community.
When Three Marm first moved into the former library, the building had been unoccupied for quite some time. Many areas in the inside of the building were in disrepair and in desperate need of renovation. The area behind the building had become a hangout for drug users and transients, and was littered with trash and dirty mattresses. The photos below give you some idea of what things were like in late 2017.

Andrew, Adam, and Donnie have made great progress in improving the property, sometimes enlisting the help of local craftmen and artists to beautify the space. As you can see below, we now have a walk in cooler, tap wall, and bar.

Since then, Three Marm Brewing has developed several award-winning specialty craft beers, which are sourced from the best locally-grown ingredients. Our tasting room is now fully open for guests, with a barbecue pit , an indoor bar, and outdoor patio seating. Visit our website for more information about our beer and upcoming events.

The Barbells for Boobs program was developed to address a critical need and fill the gap for proactive breast healthcare services for underserved and uninformed populations. The program provides advocacy, navigation, and funding support nationwide. Barbells for boobs fundraising events and generous donation from our supporters are vital components that allow us to provide more detection services and implement barbells for boobs programs. The first barbells for boobs grants were awarded in July 2011 in southern California. Since then the program has funded 20 non-profit breast health care organizations and facilities in 17 states.
