Help The Martin Family after house fire
Donation protected
Good afternoon friends and family. My name is Amanda Mercado. I'm not one to usually do this but here goes nothing. A very very close family to us, my best friend of 23 years Rachel Martin and Eric Martin had a house fire on February 19th. Everyone got out safe but the family has lost all their belongings inside the home due to smoke and soot damage but thankfully didn't lose their whole house. This couple has 4 children that live in the home a baby girl who is 9 months old, a little boy that is 10 years old, a girl who is 13 years old (she's the hero that woke mom up to the smell of smoke), and a girl who is 16 years old with severe asthma. They have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 guinea pigs. They have been displaced and are currently staying at a hotel 2 towns over. They have to start brand new from clothes, hangers, frames, food, toiletries, absolutely everything!!!! They are both out of work for the time being trying to deal with insurances, Dr's, schools etc. 3 of their dogs are able to stay at the house but they are finding themselves using twice as much gas as usual going back and forth to tend to their animals, transportation to and from school when 3 kids go to 3 different schools. They need help!!! Gift cards for food or gas or clothes, donation items anything at all will help. Her baby drinks allmentium formula and they had to throw away any cans that were in the home and are having difficulties finding formulas. The baby is 18 month clothes, size 4 diapers. She can use anything at all. A home-cooked meal, pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, absolutely everything!!! Please message me or call me if you are willing to help. I didn't tag this family due to privacy right now, they have so much on their plate and I don't want them getting 5 million messages to try and answer. There is a picture of all kids sizes and mom and dad can most likely use things too. Nothing is too small!!! Thank you everyone!!
