Meet Thor. He is a precious, playful eight-year-old Chihuahua. Last year around this time, I lost the love of my life, and then shortly after, my 16-year-old dachshund named Molly. I was in a really bad state when I heard about a group of Chihuahuas who had lost their daddy. They desperately needed to be placed in homes. I decided to take a leap and foster one, thinking the distraction from my most recent tragedies would be good for me. It turned out he and I were perfect for each other, and I foster failed.

Last night, on December 23rd at about 6:00, I opened the door to my fenced-in backyard to let my dogs out. I turned around to take a pork loin out of the refrigerator to get ready to start cooking, not even 10 yards away from the back door. Then I heard all the commotion. A German Shepherd, who has been a menace for the past 3 years that I know of, had reached her head through my fence and pulled Thor through, shaking him like a rag doll. I was able to rush him to the vet, where he has been hospitalized. As of yet, his bill has reached over $1,200. This includes emergency care, x-rays, medications, hospitalization, fluids, etc. I work my butt off, but I do not make a lot of money. I can really use some help in paying for this. Any little bit will help. Thank you kindly.

(Yes, I am following up with animal control today. But this woman does not have any money. Suing her would be like trying to get blood from a turnip. But I am following through.)
