Hi, my name is Leanne and I would like to introduce you to the lovely Thor.
Thor is just 7 months old and about a month ago we noticed that he was limping after his walks.
We left him to rest but he continued to limp so we made him an appointment to see the vet. He was checked over and a referral was made to Bridge View vets where he had a CT scan of his legs, hips and elbows along with blood tests.
These tests have shown that he has several things wrong with him. He has elbow dysplasia which has led to pieces of bone breaking away from the main bone and he needs surgery to remove them.
He also needs a hip replacement because it is on the verge of popping out of place. Photos are attached.
The cost of these surgeries are too expensive for me. He is insured but only up to £4000 and half of it has already been used for his scans and tests.
The first operation to remove the pieces of bone is estimated to be about £2000/£3000 and the cost of the hip replacement is about £6000/£9000 depending on where it is carried out.
Some people are saying just have him put to sleep and if he was an old dog I would do that. But he is just a baby and deserves the opportunity to live a happy, pain free life so if you could spare just £1 or even just share this post to get it out there we would be forever grateful.

Update
Thor is booked in for his first surgery on the 15th October. He will have the fragments of broken bone removed and his leg broken and reset to relieve the pressure on it. However, we are still £600 short so I am hoping that there are some more generous people out there that could donate a pound or two.
The sad reality of this is that if we can't raise the the money for his surgeries he will have to be put to sleep because we can't let him live in pain.
So please if you're able to help us out, even 50p could make a difference.
Thor is so young and deserves a chance.
And many thanks to those who have already donated - it's much appreciated.
