Meet Thor—a goofy, loving dog I rescued from a life of neglect and abuse. From the moment I brought him home, he became my best friend and constant companion. We’ve been through so much together, and now he needs help more than ever.
Our Fight for a Pain-Free Life
Two years ago, a slight limp and a "bunny hop" led to a devastating diagnosis: Hip Dysplasia. For 18 months, I sacrificed everything—every luxury and eventually every necessity—to pay for his hydrotherapy and pain medications. But I knew my finances were on a collision course.
In January, I reached a breaking point: pay for his life-altering meds or pay my rent. I chose him. I asked my landlord for a payment plan, but instead, we were evicted.
Our Current Reality
I chose my dog over my home, and I’d do it again—but now we need help.
We are currently living in my car. The vet now says he requires a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) to stop his chronic pain, as a total hip replacement is financially out of reach. I am now fighting a dual battle: working extra hours trying to save for his surgery while desperately seeking stable housing where he can safely recover.
Your support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply a kind word—would mean everything to us. Every bit of help brings us closer to giving Thor the pain-free life he deserves and helps us find our way back to stability. Thank you for believing in our fight and for giving us hope when we need it most.
