We were able to take Thor in to be seen. The veterinarian said that he thought that it may be cancer, but that he wanted to get his colleagues opinion. In the meantime he prescribed Thor a steroid and antibiotics. Today, July 18th, we went back for his check up and have been told that IT IS in fact cancer, and he will need surgery. We are so grateful that you've even bothered to read this, but if you are able to donate to his surgical fund we would be OVER THE MOON. My name is Thor, I am a 6-year-old Staffordshire Terrier and I'm the goodest boy ever. I have a family that loves me very much and would and does do everything for me, but something recently happened to my backside. We arent sure if I was bit by something or what has happened. All we do know is that it hurts me REALLY BAD and sometimes I scratch it because it itches and then I hurt myself by doing that. Moms pretty sure its infected and we are pleading for your help because up to this point my family hasn't been able to take me to the vet to have me seen. It's not because they don't want to; it's because right now they haven't got the means to. Donations will be used for vet visits and treatment going forward. If you have it in your heart and wallet to donate to helping find out what is causing the boo boo on my backside and the treatment for it, myself and my humans would be so very grateful.
