Thor has been my constant companion since he was just two months old. I first met him while working at the Humane Society in college, and from the moment he fell asleep on my lap, and chased after me to the parking lot when I tried to go home without him, he’s been by my side through every move and every challenge. Thor’s life hasn’t been easy. He survived being abandoned in a storm as a puppy with the rest of his litter, endured a broken jaw, ran away & got into a car accident, and a pancreatic infection that doctors didn’t think he’d survive. Despite it all, he’s always been my heart, my family, and my sweet baby boy for the past 13 years.

Now, Thor is struggling with a persistent cough that hasn’t responded to medication. The vet says he needs a chest X-ray to find out what’s going on and see if there are other treatments that can help him. Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to cover this unexpected expense on my own. The funds raised will go directly toward getting Thor the X-rays, and any treatment(s) he needs so we can give him the best possible care and comfort for the rest of his beautiful time left with us.
