Help Thomas Create Affordable Wheelchairs
Tax deductible
My name is Thomas Quiter, and I've lived my entire life with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which means I depend on a wheelchair.
It's why I know firsthand about the problems that face people who depend on them.
Traditional wheelchairs provided by insurance often don't meet our real needs. They limit our mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. Worse yet, getting these chairs repaired can take weeks or months, leaving people stranded.
If a wheelchair upgrade or repair isn't deemed "medically necessary" — and they rarely are — it's not covered. So people are stuck with uncomfortable, restrictive chairs that don't allow them to live fully.
That's why I'm on a mission to change this. I'm using open-source technology to create affordable, customizable wheelchairs that meet the real needs of people with disabilities. But I can't do it alone.
I need your help to get these prototypes to the finish line. With your donation, we can revolutionize the wheelchair industry and provide better options for people all over the world.
Together, we can build a future where no one is held back by their mobility equipment.
Please, whatever you can do to help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
