Hi, our names are Molly and Stacy and we are raising funds for our elder neighbor and his son in Seattle to STAY HOUSED. They must move to California ASAP during a housing emergency and after the recent death of their beloved wife and mother, Gwen. With the imminent sale of their rental home, this family needs to move urgently. Thomas Senior is 81 years old and has serious heart issues that need close attention. He has just said goodbye to his wife of many years after caring for her through a long battle with cancer. Thomas Junior is in his mid 30s but has needed help , as long as I can remember, from his parents in navigating jobs and life skills. We have lived next door to Thomas Sr. , Gwen and Thomas Jr for more than 15 years and have always been greeted with kindness, big smiles and invitations to visit their fish tank and indoor house garden with our children. We have shared recipes for fried green tomatoes, tips on growing vegetables and offers of help in the garden and fishing excursions.
