Help Thomas Recover from HitandRun Injuries and Medical debt
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Chloe. My fiancé, Thomas, recently was a victim of a hit and run on Gravois Ave in St. Louis, Missouri. He was on his bicycle riding home from work. That was his only way of getting to and from work. When some white pick-up truck vehicle blew through a stop sign and hit him head-on, then fled the scene. They didn’t even try to stop to check on him. Pedestrians luckily came up and pulled him out of the road when he was unconscious and called 911. Since nobody saw the license plate number, the local police cannot do anything about the medical bills, therefore making him have to pay for everything: the ambulance, medical bills, etc. He is trying to recover, but it’s going to be a long journey. He has 30 stitches in his lip, his tooth is broken, his nerve is showing, and they are telling him to go to a dental surgeon immediately to get it removed. The only thing is he doesn’t have insurance nor dental insurance, so that will just be another bill he’ll have to pay because of someone else who wasn’t paying attention and didn’t even care to stop. His knee is messed up, he’s on crutches, his shoulder is messed up, and the whole right side of his body. We’re having a baby in 2 months and anything will help. We would greatly appreciate it. We don’t have the financial resources to pay for his medical bills. It was super scary, but I’m glad he’s even alive after the whole thing. I’m happy that his baby will still have a father, even though he’ll be traumatized for the rest of his life about the whole situation and even to ride a bike again.
