Our names are Thomas & Julie. For the last year, my husband has been fighting colon cancer and has been unable to work due to the chemotherapy treatments, radiation therapy, and the weekly doctor appointments. We have two dogs that we have had since they were babies. Since he got sick, I've had to change jobs (for insurance reasons & needing a full-time job) to take care of him. He has only had the company of our dogs during the day while I'm at work. But now we have some new neighbors who moved in and have caused nothing but chaos. These people harass our families and verbally attack us every chance they get. They have made up lies and said that our dogs attacked their dog, but they have no proof it was ours. I have video proof our dogs never left the property (10 acres we live on with family that is owned by family), but because they were not “on a chain,” they are taking their word over ours.

I’m asking for help to get what I need in order to keep my dogs with what the borough is asking us to do. Only because money is extremely tight being the only person working and supporting two people and already paying medical expenses.
