Help Thomas Heal After a Life-Changing Accident

On Sunday night, just past midnight, our family’s world was turned upside down. My 21-year-old nephew, Thomas, was in a devastating accident that has forever changed his life. By the grace of God, he survived — but the road ahead will be long and incredibly difficult.

Thomas suffered severe injuries. His leg will be amputated below the knee, and his hand is currently non-functional. He also sustained three small fractures in his neck, but miraculously, there were no further internal injuries. For that, we are endlessly grateful.

As you can imagine, the recovery process will be intense — physically, emotionally, and financially. Thomas will need extensive surgeries, rehabilitation, and eventually a prosthetic leg. There will be therapy, ongoing medical care, and the many unexpected costs that come with this kind of trauma.
