My name is Thomas. I’m a utility lineman. On January 6, 2026, I was seriously injured while working on power lines when a live electrical line shocked me, causing burns to my arm and body. I was rushed to the hospital and I’m now facing a long recovery.
I’m currently unable to work, and my injury has made everyday things like using my arm, sleeping, and caring for myself painful and difficult. As a lineman, my body is my livelihood — and right now I don’t know when I’ll be able to return.
While workers’ comp helps, it doesn’t cover everything — medical bills, travel to appointments, prescriptions, household bills, and the lost income during recovery are already adding up. I’m asking for help to keep my family and myself afloat while I heal.
Any amount helps, and even sharing this means the world to me. Thank you for supporting me during one of the hardest moments of my life.
