I'm not usually one to ask for help, but 2025 has brought challenges I never expected. This year, I became the primary caregiver for my elderly father, which meant I had to leave several jobs to be there for him. After my Uber driver account was suspended due to low ratings, I found myself unemployed for a month, struggling to catch up on bills. It felt like everything that could go wrong did go wrong—all three of my vehicles, including one I borrowed from my brother, broke down. Without transportation, I couldn't get to work or provide for my family of seven.

As I focused on feeding my family and making sure their needs were met, I fell two months behind on our mortgage. The bills I couldn't pay while I was unemployed caused my credit score to take a massive hit. Now, I'm facing the reality of not having the means or finances to repair our vehicles, and without them, I can't get back to work. It's been overwhelming trying to keep up, but I know I have to keep going for my family.
