Making BABY THOMPSON!!

First off I want to say thank you for taking the time to read our story.

A couple of months ago we found I have been battling infertility. After our miscarriage in 2018 and a little more than a year of trying naturally with no luck, we decided to go seek help. We never thought we would be in a fertility clinic, especially at 22 and 24. We knew this journey would not be easy, but we decided a few rounds of IUI would be our best option for the time being.

We went through our first IUI treatment in May of 2020 which resulted in a negative pregnancy test. After that we were so doubtful about if we would actually be able to get pregnant. We talked about it over and over, prayed about it many times and we just decided we needed to see another doctor for a second opinion. This past April we started seeing the new Dr. We did our first IUI treatment with him in May. I was in tears the day of the procedure just because I felt SOOO confident that it was going to work. Two weeks later we tested and got a positive pregnancy test! We were so excited . I went in later that week for a few labs and my HCG levels were not increasing like they should have been. A few days later we miscarried. In June we went back in for another treatment in hopes it would work again but it ended with a negative test as well.. After those 3 failed IUIs we have yet to decide if we are doing another one, but we know IVF is in our NEAR future. As you may or may not know, insurance companies cover very little, if any at all in the way of fertility treatments. As a young couple just really getting our life started, its been taking a toll on us mentally, physically and financially. I know our goal is a long shot, but even if we do not reach our goal please know all of your donations will get us that much closer and still be going towards a fertility treatment and saving up for IVF.
