Hello friends. Thankyou for just taking the time to look at our fundraiser. I hate asking for handouts, but after seeing my emotional state in the last couple months, many of my closer friends have been recommending that I start a GoFundMe account for me and my girlfriend Josette. I started a new job this week, and it is nice, but it does not pay a lot and I won't get a full check for almost a month (I am currently on a short 18 hour a week training schedule and have only worked 3 days)... Even if I was getting full checks right now, I would still be financially ruined...

Me and Josette had such big dreams of getting married this October, we weren't even hoping to have a big and extravagant wedding but just enough to have something classy and modest, and we wanted to get a dachshund dog and start our little family and live happily ever after but with all of our financial trouble we are just now hoping to not get evicted or lose my vehicle. it has been one thing after another and it is obvious the universe is testing us.

So basically, it all started when the humidity got out of control indoors in our apartment and destroyed our bed with black mold and many of my musical instruments (I'm a musician) and a bunch of my magic the gathering collection. When this occured we had to invest what little money we had in a high-quality dehumidifier (which did completely fix the humidity problem in our home thankfully!).

Right after that I had car trouble, and my phone broke, and my computer also broke. the bills are stacking up so fast we just can't keep up. which i needed to shell out for so i would even be able to go out and look for work. I had been looking for a job for a while and had been unable to find anything. Luckily I have very recently started a new job, however it doesn;t pay much.

i have been selling all of my prized possessions on Ebay, but I am quickly running out of stuff to list, and it's not brought in much money, i sold almost my entire magic the gathering collection and it only covered my half of rent for one month and a week of groceries. I wake up in fear not knowing how we will survive because we have fallen so far behind.

All of the tires on my car are so dry-rotted that they could pop at anytime and I pray daily that it will get me back and forth to work for another week.

I'm running out of ideas. I've been trying to sell my music on bandcamp, but that has only resulted in about $86 in the last 3 months (although I must say if you got my music I appreciate you endlessly). We currently have about 4 days worth of tooth paste left and our fridge is full of sauce but lacking in vegetables or anything substantial for us to subsist off of. (UPDATE! BECAUSE OF YOUR DONATIONS WE HAVE A FULL FRIDGE AND ARE NOT HUNGRY!!! <333333)

I have been surviving off of one meal a day and neither of us sleep very well because we literally sleep on what is basically foam matts on the floor with blankets on them so we both wake up really sore.

A few weeks ago I had a wierd experience with a threatening guy that creeped us both out so bad that we were paranoid to go to sleep. We had to use to invest in a security camera so that we felt safe enough to go to sleep.

Our goals are to pay off all of our bills, and be financially safe for long enough for me to start making better money from my job once I can get into full time, and to save money towards our marriage, and also to get a nice bed, a full pantry of groceries and vitamins, all the necessary car repairs to make it last the year, and pay off all of our bills.

so yeah, basically where me and my girlfriend are at is we are incredibly embarrassed to ask, but we are drowning in bills and losing hope fast and there is no way for us to catch up. we are nervous and we need help. any amount is appreciated. if you can't afford to support just sharing this is great. We understand that this is a tough time for everyone right now.

EDIT* we were walking to get that mail one day and have picked up a new adventurer in our adventure party! his name is mr. jackpots and he is a stray cat with one eye, one ear, one tooth, and a hurt tail. i have added a section in "what we need" at top of the page to include things to care for our new buddy
