My name is Tora - and the dog that you can see in the picture is Solo.
Solo and I care for a disabled man (her owner) who has Solo as an emotional support animal. The love they share for each other is remarkable and when they are together they can take on any challenges.
However as of yesterday suddenly Solo stopped being able to walk - We have no idea what the reason was nor what triggered this but we rushed her to the vet.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford vet treatment so are registered with Blue Cross as we cannot work due to our disabilities. We were told late last night that Solo had a Spinal Injury and they could not treat her. They said that MRIs, CTs and Surgery was the only route that we could take. We were quoted £15,000 at minimum for this but we would have to find a private Vet Hospital to take her as a patient.
We were distraught, we have no way of affording this but we have to give her back her legs. Solo is one of the most lively dogs, a strong girl with a fighting spirit it's beyond heartbreaking seeing her like this. Solo can wag her tail, eat and continue on but this is not the girl that we know please help us. We were told with surgery there is a high rate of her being back to normal but first, we have to find a way to make this money.
Solo has changed our lives for the better, got us through Panic attacks, Blackouts and even given us the will to live back. Please help us.
All money that would be donated will be used for Solo and only her - Her scans, operations and her subsequent physiotherapy or any other issues that would arise from this condition.
