Help this sweet Thai rescue dog find her forever home ❤️

Hi, my name is Ella, and I recently spent some time volunteering at a dog shelter on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. During my time there, I met a very special dog who completely stole my heart. There were lots of dogs at the shelter, but this one stood out to me…

Meet Peanut! She’s a gentle, medium-sized sweetheart with big ears, a bigger smile, and the kindest soul. I would adopt her myself in a heartbeat, but sadly I’m not at the right stage of my life to be able to give her a home due to going back to university to complete my masters in Primary Education. So now I’m on a mission to change her future, and I need your help.

We’re working on raising funds to cover the costs of getting her safely to the UK, where we will have a loving foster home ready to welcome her. From there, we’ll work hard to find her the forever home she deserves.

Why Peanut?

There are lots of dogs at the shelter who need homes and I really wish I could help them all, but Peanut was the one who really stuck with me, and I am still thinking about her after being back from travelling for over a month! She wasn’t pushy or loud, she just had this calm way of being around people. She’d quietly follow me around, sit with me, and seemed genuinely happy to just have company. I didn’t go in planning to focus on one dog, but I completely fell in love with her and would spend most of my days at the shelter giving her lots of cuddles and attention.

Why this matters

This amazing girl has lived a tough life, and she has spent far too long in a shelter (through no fault of her own). Despite that, she is incredibly affectionate, friendly with other dogs, and absolutely adores human interaction.

Where your money will go

We are currently gathering a detailed breakdown of costs (including travel, checks, and vaccinations), and I’ll post that here as soon as possible. Every single penny raised will go directly towards giving her this life-changing opportunity.
