This sweet 9-year-old Australian Shepherd lost everything he knew when his owner had to undergo surgery. While his owner’s sister was supposed to care for him, she ended up surrendering him to the shelter instead.

He was completely heartbroken and defeated in that environment — you could see it in his eyes. While in the shelter, he developed a bad case of kennel cough that he’s still struggling with. His cough and breathing remain concerning, and he desperately needs medical attention.

The vet has recommended blood work, chest X-rays, and ear cleaning since his ears also appear to be infected. We want to make sure he gets every bit of care he needs to finally feel safe and healthy again.
