Over the weekend, on September 26th, 2025, Courtney, Blair, their two small kids and little doggie faced a terrifying event, a house fire that destroyed the home that they were currently renting and nearly all of their belongings. While the most important thing is they were all able to get out safely, without any injuries, they now face a journey, which is overwhelming, a journey to rebuild their lives.
The fire was caused by damage from inside the walls and through no fault of their own, has left this family displaced and stressed to find a new place to call home. Although they did have tenant's insurance, the reality is it isn’t sufficient enough to cover the cost of starting over.
As of right now this family is facing the fact of having to secure a furnished rental ASAP, which includes not only the rental fee but a deposit. Replacing essentials, buying the basics and household goods, loss of wages, as both Courtney and Blair will have to take time off work to navigate through the process. And on top, having to pay uninsured expenses that insurance simply does not cover.
Together, we are hoping we can get as much help as we can for this family. By donating you are giving them hope and lessening the stress financially.
