This amazing little boy and his family are in need of a medical stroller to allow ease of access.

Our pediatric patients are given one mobility device every 5 years but many of them need more than one.

Juan is a perfect example of this. He requires a wheelchair for positioning in order to utilize his new visual gaze Augmentative Assistive Communication device (which he is doing so well will) but a full-size wheelchair is very challenging for a family to take with them when they don't have access to a wheelchair accessible vehicle (cost often exceeding $60,000). Taking him to the grocery, the park, or any other simple outing is nearly impossible for his mom as she is his primary means of transportation. His dad is often traveling for work and little brother, only one year old, does not have quite the strength to move a full-sized wheelchair :)
