Help this single mum affected by the floods

Hi my name is Caroline and I have created this go fund me page to help raise some money for my best friend to help her and her son rebuild their home.

Jessica is a single mother who is raising her 4-year-old son and they have recently been affected by the devastating floods in Maribyrnong. In the early morning on Friday when she was told to evacuate, she left everything behind, not imagining that she would return to such heartbreaking conditions. This morning (Saturday), she returned to discover that all their furniture, beds, clothes, and possessions were completely destroyed. What they have created to be their little home, has now been destroyed by flood waters of nearly a metre high. Their once safe space, for now is no longer as they have nothing left to return to.

Jess is a strong mother who has been through a lot in life. I would like to raise some awareness of her situation as every little bit will help this beautiful woman restore her whole life. Unfortunately, in this circumstance they had no insurance but I am hoping that some kind hearted people could help them buy the necessities to get back onto their feet and create a place to call home again!
