Help a Fellow Film Industry Mother Rebuild Safety and Stability for Her Kids

In the film industry, we all know how unpredictable and exhausting this work can be — long hours, unstable paychecks, and the constant hustle to stay afloat. Now imagine doing all of that while raising four children on your own after escaping an abusive relationship.

I am creating this fundraiser for a dear friend and fellow industry professional who is too proud to ask for herself. She is a devoted mother of four who has been carrying an unimaginable burden, all while trying to give her children the safety, love, and stability they deserve.

Recently, she found the courage to leave a deeply abusive relationship — one that left her emotionally, verbally, and financially broken. She chose her children’s safety over her own comfort, but in doing so, she was forced to start over with almost nothing.

She has no family she can turn to for support. Every day, she fights alone to hold everything together: battling legal struggles, facing mounting bills, and trying to keep a roof over her children’s heads. Despite her strength and determination, the weight has become unbearable.

Right now, she and her kids are at risk of losing the little stability they have. Donations will go directly toward back rent, groceries, legal support, and essentials so her children can feel safe and secure while she works tirelessly to rebuild their lives.

She would never ask for help herself, and the truth is — she’s embarrassed to even be in this position. But I’ve seen how much she gives to her kids, her work, and her community, even when she has nothing left for herself. She is the kind of person who shows up for everyone else — now she needs us to show up for her.

This isn’t just about covering bills. This is about giving a mother and her children a chance to breathe, to heal, and to step into a life filled with safety and hope.
