Help This Single Mom & Her Boys Land On Their Feet

Hi, my name is Angela, and I’m a full-time working mom doing everything I can to keep life steady for my two little boys. I’m not usually one to share my personal story like this—but I’m in a place where I don’t know what else to do.

I’ve worked hard to give my kids a stable life. I have a degree, a full-time job, and even a part-time job on the side. But this economy just isn’t built for single-income households, especially not single moms starting over from scratch.

My husband and I are separated and on the path to divorce—something I never wanted, but had to face after repeated betrayals. For the last six years, we’ve lived in a home owned by his mother. After he left, I stayed here with our sons. We had previously discussed my having a year to save and prepare to move, but that agreement has since changed. I’m now facing eviction and have no cushion to fall back on.

I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking for a hand to hold while I take this next step. Every dollar will go toward first month’s rent, a deposit, utility hookups, and helping us make a safe, fresh start.

I never imagined I’d be starting over like this in my 30s. But here we are. And I’m doing this for them. If you’ve ever felt like the world wasn’t designed for people trying their hardest—then you probably understand.
