Help this mum get home to her family

Hi, my name is lucy. Ive not done anything like this before so please bare with me! Where do i begin?! Ive known this woman on the photo nearly all my life she is not just a friend she is like family.

Her and her husband had booked a long weekend to tenerife to celerbate there one year anniversary of being married, only for it turn in to a disaster on there last day! They had hired an iscooter and was travelling to the beach when she hit a pot hole which then caused her to lose control, fall off and injure her knee.

Long story short weve kept intouch all holiday and all through this heartbreaking time! Shes been taken to hospital had xrays done, medication giving a pot sorter and was ready for an operation until the travel insurance got back to them and said that they arent paying for anything (as in the small print an iscooter is classed as an extreme sport) and so she wasnt insured. The hospital advised her to go to a local hospital which would be cheaper but leaving them with a bill of £3500 already. Not only that theyve paid £200 in taxis to get to the other hospital to have more examinations to then be told they could have a fit to fly form but none of the airlines would allow her to fly amd she has no way of getting home unless she gets a ferry to the mainland and drive to the uk but not only this, because she cant afford the surgery and she would need to stay in tenerife for 2 months healing time until she is fit to fly she also needs to change the pot every 48hours!

I cant imagine what they are going through at this awful time to find ways of how to get home so she can get operated straight away, to get home safe. There family are worried sick, there 5 children are so upset thinking she wont make it home for christmas. Her husband cant go to work because he is by her side no funds are coming in to help her out! It actually makes me feel sick for her, its all like a bad dream.

This is so important to me, for her and her family as we have no other way to collect funds for her to get home and to get the care she needs otherwise this broken knee could get much worse so these funds are contributing to her and her hospital bills even if she has to have a doctor woth her all the way which costs around £18000 we need her home!

So please any contribution is a contribution lets get her home!
