Hi my name is Lisa, and I am fundraising for the force to be reckoned with in this picture. LaDonna and I met when I became her mentor through my local county bar association when she was 18 and aging out of the foster care system. I was there when she did not know what her next move was going to be and have watched her blossom through several moves, completing her LVN, making a life for herself and her three fabulous adopted special needs kids. LaDonna who is now 36 has worked exceptionally hard to get to where she is, but she wants to push herself even further and just passed the test and got accepted to attend an RN program! She CAN do this but she can't do it without a little extra help. She has not qualified for financial aid because she is still working full time as an LVN to support her family.
