Let’s help GORDON POE get back up again.

Hello, my name is Crystal Mire. I don’t personally like GoFundme accounts because I feel like they have been abused through the years. However; sometimes I believe they are for a good cause and purpose and have helped so many. No one has asked me to do this, nor have I gotten permission from this family, so hopefully this doesn’t upset anyone. The Poe Family are the kind of people that won’t ask for help. I just feel led to do this. I pray that God puts it on your hearts to help also.

With all that said, I believe that Brother Gordon Poe really needs our help. He and his wife have Covid. Sister Poe is on the mend thankfully, but Brother Poe has been admitted to the hospital. They have decided to keep him hospitalized for a week longer, at a minimum, as of today. The doctors are stating his recovery will take a while because of other health conditions. I called and spoke with him and he didn’t sound good. Out of all that is going on, he wanted to know how I was doing. This man is alone in a room, concerned about what may happen, worried about financial means, and wants to know about me. He’s selfless. He’s a friend. He’s a brother in Christ.

If you know Brother Poe, then you know he’s a workaholic. He gives of himself continuously and empties his heart and soul when he is preaching out. When he’s not preaching out, he’s helping people in need of prayer, or counseling, or if you just need a friend. He is always giving of himself. In his bored moments, he plays a lot on Facebook, and sometimes gets people riled up. He stands for what he believes in and sometimes that causes enemies. For the most part, people know his heart. He is pure, kind, and loving. He would give the shirt off his back. I have experienced this first hand with this lovely family, and I’m sure hundreds of you also have.

He lost a year of evangelism income with Covid last year. He was starting to preach out again and then he fell ill. It’s been a tough 1.5 years financially, yet they have still contributed to friends and family in need, the orphanages that they committed to support, and have funded, and much more.

Brother Poe has a great ministry. One of his gifts is praying healing for people. God uses him greatly. He has prayed for many barren to have children. I am personally affected by this beautiful gift from God. I know hundreds more have testified that he has prayed for them to have a child and they have been healed and their families multiplied. God has used Brother Poe for many Times of Refreshing services. So many of the saints have been blessed, lost souls have been saved, and turned their lives back to God. We need his ministry to continue. We need your support to help this family, not only to catch up from last year, but to provide this year, and pay hospital bills that will start to pile up now.
