A sweet friend of mine lives across the country with her partner and their little ones. She's a stay-at-home-mom and is in the process of starting an at-home business. She is a kind and caring person and an incredible mother, and she works tirelessly to care for her family and make sure they know they're loved.

In recent months, however, her home environment has become increasingly more and more stressful and fraught with anxiety. Her partner has proven himself unwilling to love and support her and he resorts to verbal and emotional abuse on a daily basis. She is batting extreme anxiety and depression, and doesn't know where to turn. Oppressed and lacking the necessary resources to permanently change her situation, she is in dire need of a break from her environment.

I asked her, "If I managed to raise the money for plane tickets would you and the kids come to Idaho and stay with Wesley and I for a couple of weeks?" She was thrilled at the idea.

It's incredibly challenging for victims of abuse to escape, especially when there are children involved, and with your help I would love to gift her with the chance to spend time away from her abusive partner, be surrounded by love and support, and gain some clarity about what the next step might be. Any money donated will go directly toward the cost of airline tickets, and any leftover funds would go toward the cost of food, diapers, etc. during their stay here in Idaho.

I've already looked into ticket prices, and for around $300/person, we can make this happen! Her youngest will fly free as a lap infant.
