Help this little man get through emergency vet visits

Hi everyone. My name is Elena and I am fundraising for my sweetest companion in life, my cat Sonny.

One week ago he unexpectedly suffered a heart episode and blood clot that caused him to lose the mobility in his back legs. He was rushed that day to the vet and we luckily got there in time to give him the medication needed to clear the blood clot.

He is now taking this medication daily and we are hoping for the best.

Upon further bloodwork a few days afterward some further issues have been discovered and need to be dealt with (kidney/pancreas/ect).

Luckily I had a beautiful and generous friend that has temporarily covered the cost of those two initial visits (which i have to pay back as quickly as possible).

The first visit came to $349 and the second $865 plus $34.28 for medication.

He needs one more round of blood work in a week to clarify what medication and prescription diet changes will be needed from here out. Expecting $500 for bloodwork and additional for medication.

Anyone who knows Sonny, knows that he is the sweetest and most gentle little man there is. He has had a very good and long life and the only thing that i want for him is to be able to leave this earth with the same gentleness he has shown me through my life

At this point in time he is thankfully walking again and still eating/drinking. He seems to have been shaken by this event and is resting a lot but is slowly returning to his normal self.

Although i really do need financial help at this time, i do have a new source of income to prepare for future events. But it will take a few months to get on track.

I’ve recently had to rebuild my life and wasn’t ready for this yet.

This has just come too suddenly and as embarrassing as it is for me to ask for help, i really do need it for him.

Any help that you can offer would be so greatly appreciated. I will also provide updates. All money raised will go to Sonny’s senior veterinary care. Anything raised beyond the set amount will also only be used for his care during this last phase of his life. I only want him to be as comfortable as possible until the time to say goodbye comes. But i can confidently say that time is not quite yet.
