Help This Librarian Turn The Page-Nancy Milliken
Donation protected

Nancy’s family, dear friends, and her community are feeling very heavy hearted as they stand by her side while this fiercely independent librarian confronts an extremely hard chapter in her life.
This chapter was suddenly written as this mother and grandmother has been faced with an unexpected, major health issue that has resulted in her needing immediate surgery and a long road to recovery. The magnitude of the surgery will unfortunately leave her unable to work for a great deal of time while she heals and recovers.
Nancy has always been someone who could do just about anything you could think of, all on her own. All of you who know Nancy, know what I mean when I say this! But not only has she been fiercely independent and made sure her and her family had everything they needed. She is always someone who has not only been giving of her time, but also eager to share with everyone her delicious goodies, laugh, smile, and a good joke.
Nancy’s coworkers say:
“The impression that Nancy makes on the families she serves through the library is astounding and profound. The love & care she dedicates to her job as an Early Literacy Librarian has left a lasting impact on many. She is always making her colleagues laugh with her one of a kind humor and brings such joy to the work day.”
It is this that has led them and her family to ask on behalf of Nancy for people to open up their hearts as she so frequently opened up a book for a new reader.
The donations collected will go towards medical expenses and loss of income while she will be recovering.
Nancy needs our help through this chapter in her life as she looks to endure and turn the page for a better tomorrow.
