Help this ghoul get home!

Hey there friends, family, and fellow ghouls.

There's really no poetic way I can imagine getting into this topic, so let's just get to it. I need help.

For those who don't know me, Hello! I'm Oliver! I'm a 29 year old transman living in Southern California. I'm the loving parent of Merlin the bunny, Bas the rat, and Enki the ball python. Unfortunately, our living situation has become extremely toxic and unsafe. I don't want to get into the specifics about my living situation simply because backlash could cause direct harm to me, or my pets. I just ask for your help to get us out of it.

My pets and I have a safe refuge. However, that safe space is 2700 miles away. My family, friends, and beloved are in the Midwest, waiting for us to come home. I have been trying to stick things out and save the money, but things keep getting worse. This gofundme is designated to help Merlin, Bas, Enki, and I get across the country together safely.

Asking for help is quite difficult for me. I've always believed "I'd rather have nothing than ask for help." After spending 29 years believing this, I realize that it's okay to ask for help when you need it. This is not simply about yours truly anymore. I have to create a better quality of life for myself and the animals I have become the caretaker of.
