Support this Gaza family over winter

Dear friends,

This gofundme is being organised by a Londoner in the UK on behalf of Faisel and his young family in Gaza. Faisel is currently on the Egypt border in a tent camp with his wife, and three daughters (Larin, 6 years old, and Zaina, 3 years old, and their new born baby), and Faisel’s mother who is 67 and has a number of health issues (and no medicine).

I met Faisel online early in 2022. He’s a super talented graphic designer and UX/UI developer, a genuinely lovely guy with a beautiful family. He had a successful online business providing designs via sites like Fiverr and was doing really well. We worked together for just over a month, hitting it off immediately, and we kept in touch on and off, though it was difficult to speak since the war started.

We raised $7000 + earlier this year to help them get over the border to Egypt - that target was higher as it was going to cost $25k to do that. Sadly the money wasnt enough to get the across but it came in use to pay for food and medicine and shelter. It has lasted around 5 months.

With no source of income and winter setting in, the family is living in a makeshift tent in Dair al Balah. They need financial support to stay warm and buy food which has become scarce and super expensive - Onions used to cost $0.80 for 1kg - they are now $20 for 1kg.
