Help this farrier get back to helping horses

My dad has always been there for my brother, sister and I so I feel asking for help for him is the least i could do. I created this to try and help him recover from loss of income while currently being off work due to severe injury.
Steve (my dad) has been a farrier for 37 years. He graduated farrier college, apprenticed and began serving horses. Over the last decade he has pursued higher education and training on a path to be his best for horses. He has had two research papers published with another in progress. He has traveled extensively to attend and give clinics always wanting to learn, share and collaborate to help as many horses as possible as a community.
The incident could have easily been fatal but luckily it wasn't although the injuries he sustained may be life altering.
He was kicked 3 times with both back feet of a horse resulting in 6 sites of impact with significant trauma to his lower left back (kidney area), left hip and buttocks, left femur, right leg behind the knee and broken right tibia and fibula requiring emergency reconstructive orthopedic surgery.
This is going to be a long recovery with the level of function and ability to return to a trade he has devoted his life to for quite a while and as he currently can not work has no income. If you are able to help him in any way I know he would be very grateful.
