**Help the Kindest Family Rebuild After Hurricane Ian**

A couple of weeks ago, our family met the kindest, most humble family while camping at Myakka Florida State Park. We were in our RV and they were in a tent two sites down from us. 

Our children ended up playing with their children and we quickly bonded with this young couple and their two little, adorable boys. The older boy - age 4 - was also named Sammy and had the same white-blonde bowl haircut our Sammy used to have when he was a little boy.

After returning home, we suspected they might be living at campgrounds in a tent full-time, and our hearts broke when we learned this was true. 

This sweet family lost their rental home and camper in Hurricane Ian and have been struggling ever since. They now move from campground to campground in the Sarasota area, set up and break down a tent daily, while relying on selling off all of their personal belongings to cover their basic needs.

The young mother, who is legally blind, and the dedicated father and mechanic, are doing everything they can to keep their family safe and together. The father cannot bear to leave his wife and children alone in rural campgrounds to work, leaving them in a desperate situation. 

Despite these hardships, their spirits remain strong, and their kindness and humility shine through as they have never asked for help.

We want to help this wonderful family get back on their feet. We are currently looking for a safe, clean, economical travel trailer / camper on Facebook Marketplace. We hope to also secure them a year-round campground pass.

We need to get them out of this heat and into some AC!

Together, we can give them a safe place to live and a chance to rebuild their lives. It's just the human thing to do.
