Please Help Anna Polzin & Family

Hi everyone, my name is Meagan. I live in Canada, but much of my family and friends are in the US. My very best friend, Kyle (we grew up calling each other "pretend" cousins) married the love of his life in 2015. Anna is one of the most beautiful people you could ever meet, inside and out. Kyle couldn't have found a better person if he tried and together they have two beautiful little girls. Anna is the type of person you are drawn to. She is kind, incredibly selfless, and has the biggest, most infectious smile. Covid had kept us apart for almost two years, but last week we were incredibly blessed to be reunited as Kyle, Anna, and their two young girls made the drive to Canada to see us. It was exciting, fun, emotional, and down right magical to see our kids play together after a long two years. The day after they arrived home, Anna wasn't feeling herself. It was more than just that exhausted feeling you get from a family road trip. They went to see a doctor and in an instant their world was turned upside-down with a diagnosis they could never have seen coming. Anna was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). They are currently ironing out the last few details of her treatment plan, which will include chemotherapy starting immediately. The treatment will be very aggressive and Anna will need to stay in the hospital for at least the first 4 weeks. As you can imagine, along with a lot of emotional support, encouragement, and positive thoughts - they will likely need some financial support to navigate the time off work and large medical bills they will be faced with. They are the type of people to drop everything for anyone in need, but would never ask for help for themselves. Their girls are being well taken care of by "Nana" and "Papa" and Kyle and Anna are doing their best to support each other. They are two of the strongest and most positive people that I know and for those reasons I know they will get through this. If you can help in any way, we would all be forever grateful.
