Help this Family Through This Heartbreaking Cancer Battle

Donation protected
My mother, our mother, my warrior. Here I am struggling to do this. My mother, who is 58 years young, is losing a battle between cancer.
Cancer, you suck. It has drained my beautiful mother, and our hearts are aching. Never did we understand how hard this can be as my mom battled RA for as long as we can remember. From multiple hospital visits, to perform surgeries. Both knee replacements, and hip. While her hands and bones ached all over. But this fight has been different.
For eight months, of this year 2024, she’s been fighting. Unfortunately, it has come to the point where doctors are saying any day now due to the cancer spreading. Stating, it’s too risky to proceed. So they said, “prepare”.
Prepare? No, not my mom, dad, bestie! Please, NOT NOW. We believe in miracles and we will continue to fight! Please.
If god decides to take your hand, then we owe you that comfort. As much as we are mad, sad, angry to why my mother couldn’t be healthy! Healthy enough to run, to live long enough to see my future kids! As I wipe away my tears, I noticed.
I noticed, her soul is too beautiful for a world this cruel. I noticed, the light that follows her when she enters a room. I noticed, she is what made us whole.
The miracle is, even with pain she always smiled. Before cancer, she was at every event, soccer game all while her bones were aching. My mother is strong! Even with battling cancer, till this very day, she shows us that beautiful smile.
My warrior, iloveyouu! We love you! Forever and always, my mommy you’ll be! To my mom/dad, and everything above, I pray you give us strength to understand and to always be a family no matter what.
My mother raised a family of five. An oldest, Robert Rodriguez. The second oldest, Roxanne Rodriguez. The third, Michael Gaitan. The babies, the twins, Stephanie Gaitan (myself), Sabrina Gaitan. She got blessed to see her oldest make her a grandma. As me and my twin, waited.
Lord, give us strength. This hurts. I love you mom.
Donations are very much appreciated, as the funds are not there to “prepare”. So thank you all!
No one can ever prepare you for this type of pain. How do you accept the reality when you still feel like this is a dream.
