As many of you saw on the news recently there was a large fire on Tuesday. One of the people affected is our dear friend and coworker, Mia, being faced a nightmare no family should have to endure. A sudden, devastating fire destroyed her home, and vehicle leaving her and her three young daughters with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. Everything else — memories, belongings, and the place they called home.

To make this heartbreak even harder, the fire struck right before Christmas and in the middle of winter, a time when her little girls should have been feeling excitement and warmth, not fear and uncertainty. Instead of decorating a tree or wrapping presents, this family is now trying to figure out where they will sleep, what they will wear, and how to begin again.

For those who know Mia, she is a devoted mother/wife and an incredibly hard-working, compassionate person who always shows up for others. She is not someone who asks for help easily, which is why we are asking for her.
