Hi, my name is Deborah Nelson and I'm hoping you can help this family of 9 fleeing Ukraine. Nikolai Trusov is a co-worker and he is trying to spare his 7 children from the horrors of war as it marches towards the outskirts of Odesa, Ukraine where they live.

 

They made it as far as possible in their car Friday before it ran out of gas and they had to continue by foot, bus and train. The picture above is in front of the home of a woman who graciously took them in for a night near the border. They could use some help to get to their friends in Bulgaria, where they plan to stay until things calm down.

 

Even a few dollars will help. They did not take more than they could easily carry on their backs and will need to purchase a few things for the kids once they arrive.

 

I have established a connection with Nikolai's wife Katy through PayPal and confirmed that I can send funds to them by sending my personal donation (see below). Now I ask my community of friends help this family out, if you are able.
