On February 7th, 2025 around 8:30am a fire started in my sister and her spouses home from their stove while they were at work, damaging parts of their house, and covering their entire home with smoke and soot. My sister and her family that consists of herself, her spouse, and 2 children (a 2year old and 8 month old) had to up and leave their home due to the unlivable conditions left from the damage of the fire. Clothing, appliances, children’s toys, and more were destroyed from this occurrence. Their two dogs were also trapped in the house during the fire which leaves possibilities of expensive vet bills. There will be several expenses needed to replace the damaged items, and have a professional company come in to assess the damage. Not only will this cost a good amount of money, but will also keep them out of their home for several weeks to months. They are currently residing in a neighboring 1 room studio to fit their entire family of 4 & pets until their home becomes livable again. We are looking to raise money to help them get back on their feet, and replace any home items that may have been damaged beyond repair from this fire. Any amount of donations can help their situation and will be much appreciated.

update, on Monday, February 10th professionals came in to their home to assess the damage, and revealed the news that both their home, and just about everything in side of it is not salvageable due to the damage. Unfortunately this means their home likely will be torn down, and just about everything they have owned will be scrapped, for them to start over fresh. Due to this, I am going to be updating the go fund me to a higher amount. Thank you so much to those who have donated/shared/reached out already, it is EXTREMELY appreciated.
