Help My Sister Rebuild From Being Displaced After A Devastating House Fire
UPDATE: We truly appreciate all of you who have shared and donated already. Alicia is currently still looking for a permanent home. She has been applying to several different properties. As you can imagine, application fees add up quickly. We hope she is able to have enough for a deposit, first months rent, and whatever else is needed when she is approved some place she can get into ASAP. If you know any places with immediate availability that can accommodate her family please reach out to LaLa Licia. God bless ✨️
Earlier this week, my sister’s life was turned upside down when her home caught fire. She is an incredibly hardworking single mother of six beautiful children, working two full-time jobs just to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. In an instant, that roof is gone, and along with it, most of their possessions and sense of stability.
Alicia has always been the type of person to push through struggles and put her children first, no matter how tired or stretched thin she may be, but this tragedy is something no one can face alone. Right now, she and her children are displaced, trying to piece their lives back together with very little left.
As you can imagine, starting over with six children is overwhelming. Especially for someone who was already carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. This GoFundMe is to help her rebuild what was lost: a safe place for her kids to come home to, clothing, food, and the basics they need to get back on their feet.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a world of difference for my sister and her children. If you aren’t able to give, sharing this campaign means just as much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this heartbreaking time.
