On Thanksgiving Day, a peaceful Bowser family’s life was shattered in a moment of unimaginable tragedy. In a violent act carried out by their own son, he crashed his vehicle into their home, tried to attack them with a weapon, and then set the house on fire while they were still inside. The family barely escaped with their lives.
Thanks to the quick response of the Bow Horn Bay Fire Department, the flames were eventually contained- but by then, the home was almost completely destroyed. The fire and crash left behind nothing but charred walls, shattered windows, and painful memories of what once was a safe and loving place.
While the physical damage is severe, the emotional toll is far greater. This family is now faced with the heartbreaking task of rebuilding not only their home but their sense of peace and security. They’ve lost nearly everything- their belongings, their keepsakes, and their place of comfort.
I’ve known this family for years. They are kind, generous, and always the first to lend a hand when someone else is struggling. Now, it’s our turn to show them the same love and support they’ve given so freely to others.
Your donations will go directly toward:
-Emergency needs: clothing, food, and temporary housing
-Home restoration: cleanup, repairs, and rebuilding what was lost
-Emotional recovery: therapy and support as they begin to heal from this trauma
No one should ever have to go through this- especially at the hands of someone they love. Please consider helping this family rebuild what was lost as they begin their journey of healing amidst this tragedy. Any donation or share makes a difference.
