This is the Rojas-Alvarado family. They are an incredible family made up of a mother, Ana, and her two handsome boys; Adrian (13 years old) and Andrew (8 years old). Their Grandmother, Ana Sr., lives with them and is the glue that binds this family together.
They work hard to feed and cloth one another and with the help of other family members and close friends, Adrian and Andrew get what they need to grow up in this world.
As if life isn’t hard enough on this wonderful family, on Saturday September 11, 2021, tragedy struck this family that will forever change their lives. A neighboring apartment caught on fire. The fire spreaded quickly, catching their home on fire. Living on the second floor, they had just seconds to get out, they all ran for their lives and by the grace of god, all survived.
Adrian and Andrew’s cat, Coco, he did not, and was killed in the fire.
Their home, engulfed in flames is now a total loss as the roof collapsed. Everything they ever owned, everything, is gone. Every memory gone. All their clothing, all their provisions, all their toys, everything, is gone.
There isn’t any renters insurance on an apartment like theirs and there is no rainy day fund for this family.
Whom ever is reading this is probably doing so on their cellular phone. They don’t have those now. They made it out with the clothes on their back. This family is devastated.
This page is being made to help this family rebuild, to give them hope. From toiletries to clothes and shoes, from beds to sleep on to pillows to rest their heads on. From a kitchen table to eat on to towels to dry themselves after a shower. From school supplies to backpacks to attend school. We must help, we will help.
