I am writing this on behalf of one of the dearest people in my life, the kindest and warmest soul that I have ever been blessed to meet, Heather.

Here is a a little bit about the wonderful woman that you would be helping ♥️

Heather is an avid lover of all things music and books. She passes that love onto her students that she has taught for many years as an orchestra instructor. Her knowledge of music is immense and she is incredibly talented. She also dreams of having her own bookstore storefront someday.

Heather also is one of the strongest and bravest women I've come to know. A woman who has come up against terrifying feats with her health and has overcome them time and time again. A woman who has fought cancer (twice) and won. Despite the incredible strength that it took to overcome these obstacles of the past, this time she really needs the help and support from those in her life that love and care about her to get through what lies ahead of her now, more than ever.

After a recent separation from her now ex husband, Heather was faced with the grueling decision to uproot herself and her children in hopes of bettering all of their lives in the long run but with that decision it of course has created many challenges with adapting to the sudden change. But despite the challenges, the need to move forward on her own was absolutely necessary.

But now this strong mom is facing that reality and that reality is becoming more and more difficult for any one person to manage. She is doing everything that she can to rebuild while caring for her two children, both of whom have high needs and require constant attention, support, and love. Her son is 7, a sweet and loving but very energetic boy who strives for your attention and engagement, and her 15 year old daughter going through the normal challenges that come with being a teenager amidst this sudden change and it has been extremely difficult. It has felt like such an impossible transitionary period that doesn't appear to be settling or easing any time soon. But she also was in a position where she could not stay in her previous situation any longer.

As a single parent, the weight of providing safe housing, stability, and daily care has fallen entirely on her shoulders. Despite the challenges, she continues to show up for her kids every single day with strength and determination. But no one should have to go through something like this alone. We are raising funds to help her maintain stable housing, cover essential living expenses , and ensure her children continue to receive the care and support they need during this difficult transition. As well as funds to retain a lawyer for legal support moving forward.
