On October 8th 2019 at 5:30pm Aaron Mizell was driving him and his pregnant wife Corrin home and was smashed into their driver’s side of the car by a young man not insured driving in their lane coming their way. Aaron’s femur, pelvis, and hip were broken from the impact of the vehicle hitting him directly in his seat. Fortunately, his beloved pregnant wife Corrin only had a severely sprained hand and thankfully the baby is fine.
Aaron being Medevac to an ER ended up getting rods and screws up in his left leg from his pelvis to the knee. The hospital literally sent Aaron home instead of helping him with rehab as they had discussed earlier and told him not to worry until he could fully assist himself . Aaron was sent home with not being able to move his leg without assistance.
He has his wife Corrin and his son Aaron Matt 4 years old and daughter Rebekah 2 years old. Less than one month before this horrible car wreck this year from August to September, Aaron stayed in the ICU for almost a month because of a deadly Asthma attack.
Aaron before this year never being admitted in a hospital. Has been a healthy strong young man, an affectionate husband and father. Aaron’s occupation is a Tree Arborist. In no way is he ordinary in his work providing for his family or as a father.
He is a dreamer and a devoted believer. He believes all people should have equal opportunity. He and his lovely family just got back last year from being in Asia for almost six months reaching many with the Gospel.
I was so touched by their willingness and courage when they came to me and asked me to teach them the Language for their missionary work. Aaron as father and husband is the only provider of his lovely family he has a business as a tree arborist. It is a job that demands physical strength and flexibility. Because of the damage to his body he will be unable to work from at least 6 months to a year!
