Help Declan and his family while he Fights Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and follicular Lymphoma
I’m reaching out to ask for support for my mate Declan, who is just 42 years young and is married to his wife Keira and has 3 young boys, 2 of which have Autism and their youngest Moby who is 4 has his own complex needs that Keira and Declan have spent a lot of their time navigating since his birth.
We were devastated to learn that Declan has now been diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) an aggressive and fast-growing type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma as well as Follicular Lymphoma which whilst treatable is sadly never curable, so he will require ongoing monitoring and treatment for the rest of his life!
Declan has started chemotherapy and while he is staying strong and positive, the road ahead is long and uncertain. He has just started a new job only 3 months ago, so has no sick leave and was shocked to discover he unfortunately has no income protection insurance attached to his superannuation.
Funds raised will go directly toward covering everyday costs of living and supporting his young family while he is unable to work.
Our goal is to ease the burden so Declan can focus all his energy on healing and recovery, and Keira can focus all her energy on looking after the children and keeping their lives somewhat in normality
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Declan’s story and keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. Your support in any form means the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Declan in his battle.
