Hi, my name is Katherin McKinnon. I have organized this GoFundMe for my dear friend and co-worker Bianca Garza, her husband Carlos Rodriguez, and their two children, Paloma and Lucia. Last night, they lost their entire home in Weed, CA and all of their belongings (including their two vehicles) in a tragic house fire. The whole family survived, but Carlos's father who was visiting, and their eldest daughter Paloma sustained some injuries and burns and are going to be treated at UC Davis in Sacramento. Additionally, their beloved family pet Maude is still missing--they are suspected of having fleed during the fire. Bianca and Carlos are amazing people, friends, and active community members. This fundraiser intends to support them in moving forward by providing the means to buy necessities like clothes, food, transportation, and electronics.
