Help baby Ryders family in this time of need.

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am fundraising for this amazing family who need it.

My neice Kelsy and her 1.5 year old son Ryder were in a two car highway collision. Kelsy is doing okay but she’s pretty banged up with bruising, shock and lots of pain. Ryder unfortunately is not doing so good as he was unconscious on the scene and was air lifted by stars air ambulance. Ryder is in a coma, he is suffering from a brain bleed. Ryder has had many tests, CT scans and a MRI and they have come to the conclusion that Ryder has suffered a severe brain injury called Diffuse Axonal Injury. He also has a broken collarbone, bleeding and swelling of the brain. He has a small laceration on his head that they put a few stitches in. He has a neck injury that they are supporting with a neck brace. They are waiting to see a spine specialist to see what can be done as the ligaments in his neck are needing support at this time. They have put a monitoring device in his brain to monitor pressure of the brain. He has had some worrying high pressure of the brain at times so they are closely monitoring and giving meds when the pressure does get high. All they can do now is wait and see how Ryder does over the next few days.
