Updated Let’s help defend these ladies

Update: BNS filed and was granted a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) on March 21st which expired yesterday. The TRO prevented Casey and her friends from conducting classes and earning income.  Today the ladies went to court to defend against BNS’ requested for a Temporary Injunction against THRIVE. (A Temporary Injunction would have kept THRIVE closed until the matter could be resolved) Thankfully the judge ruled in favor of Casey and her friends and “strongly denied” BNS’ request to keep THRIVE closed.  The case continues and is set for court again in October.

I applaud these ladies for their courage to stand up for what they believe in. This is not the end, just a little relief from depositions and discovery.  They are facing substantial legal fees to continue this fight.

These ladies have inspired me- we all need to fight for what we believe in-Personal integrity.  Please continue to share their story as they need your help. They are a small woman owned business that is impacted by a unfortunate situation.

Original: My dear friend Casey and her two closest friends need your help. Their previous employer has filed a civil lawsuit against them and their new fitness endeavor.

These three fitness focused friends left a hostile franchise that is owned by BNS Fitness. Once they left, they started their own weekend bootcamp called Thrive. Though these ladies endeavored to reach an amicable settlement prior to the lawsuit being filed, their former employer refused and insisted that they pay him an exorbitant amount of money and close their business (otherwise he would proceed with the lawsuit).

Their former employer has proceeded with this lawsuit and has caused both financial and economic impact to these ladies as he has singled them out and forced them to temporarily close their business pending a hearing in Collin county.

This lawsuit is trying to prevent Casey and her friends from earning a living by doing what they love most.

I met Casey many years back when she was an instructor at Fitness Factory. Her connection to her students and love of fitness has made a huge impact on me and many others. All three of these women have hearts that beat as one when it comes to their passion for helping people.

Please help me support this women-owned start-up company by providing them funds to offset their rising legal costs so that they may prevail and continue growing their fitness business.

Thank you SO much for your genuine support and love!
