Hi everyone,

This is Andrea, the eldest sister of Daila(18) and Nicole(21) (the girls in the picture).

Right now, my sisters are in Mexico with their boyfriends. They fled from Venezuela a month ago, leaving behind their home and lives because of the dictatorship that has controlled Venezuela for 25 years. They had no future there, and their lives were at risk, as there is no freedom of speech—people face torture or even death for expressing any discontent with the government. These are just some of the many reasons they were forced to run.

Their journey to Mexico has been full of hardship, and they hope to reach the U.S. soon. However, they are struggling with very limited resources and need basic necessities like food, clothing, and shelter.

I know there are many serious situations in the world right now, and I never imagined having to ask for help in this way. But for my family, I am willing to do whatever it takes to support them.

If you can help Daila, Nicole, Wyomie, and José reach the U.S. safely, we would be forever grateful. Your support could mean the difference between a dangerous journey and a safe arrival.

Hola a todos,

Soy Andrea, la hermana mayor de Daila y Nicole (las chicas de la foto).

En este momento, mis hermanas están en México con sus novios. Huyeron de Venezuela hace un mes, dejando atrás su hogar y sus vidas a causa de la dictadura que ha controlado Venezuela durante 25 años. No tenían futuro allí, y sus vidas estaban en peligro, ya que no hay libertad de expresión: la gente se enfrenta a torturas o incluso a la muerte por expresar cualquier descontento con el gobierno. Estas son solo algunas de las muchas razones que los obligaron a huir.

Su viaje hacia México ha estado lleno de dificultades, y esperan poder llegar pronto a Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, están luchando con recursos muy limitados y necesitan cosas básicas como comida, ropa y refugio.

Sé que actualmente hay muchas situaciones graves en el mundo, y nunca imaginé tener que pedir ayuda de esta manera. Pero por mi familia, estoy dispuesta a hacer todo lo que esté a mi alcance para apoyarlos.

Si pueden ayudar a que Daila, Nicole, Wyomie y José lleguen a los Estados Unidos de manera segura, estaremos eternamente agradecidos. Su apoyo podría significar la diferencia entre un viaje peligroso y una llegada segura.
